The story behind our ingredients lies in our research.

After years of suffering from dry, itchy skin, to stretch marks and acne, none of which the dermatologist could remedy, my wife and I set out to explore the past in search of a solution to our lingering skin problems.

As Pacific Islanders, we were familiar with the wonders of nature and how useful our natural environment can be in our everyday lives.

We took a close look at various people and cultures to find out what our ancestors used to care for their skin in the absence of chemicals and preservatives.

Our research led us to one answer: Nature.

We use organic cold pressed coconut oil in our body oils and a liquid form in our facial oils. This liquid form is obtained from fractionating the organic virgin coconut oil which gives it its very light, quick absorbing and non-greasy texture, which will not clog the pores.

We have added Vitamin E to our formulation because it is such a powerhouse ingredient in skincare. We loved the idea of combining Vitamin E with coconut oil because it is an elixir for skin wellness and is packed with antioxidants.
